Highlife legend, Daniel Amakye Dede, popularly known as Abrantie on Thursday, paid a courtesy call on hosts of JoyFM's Super Morning Show.
He passed through the JoyFM studios to talk about the upcoming 'Plantain Festival' which comes off this weekend at Asante Akyem Agogo where he hails from.
The Plantain Festival dubbed 'Golden Plantain Festival' begins on Friday, November 11, 2021, with activities such as "football gala," concerts, and pageantry.
According to the Legend, the winner of the pageantry will be crowned Miss Plantain and will get to travel to one of the countries that purchase plantain from Ghana.
The legend will also be performing live at the festival on Saturday.
He further seized the opportunity to make thrilling revelations about his journey in the music industry during the show.
He revealed that it took him 8 years to record one of his hits "Iron Boy," which is loved by many.
In addition, he hinted at a new release with rapper Sarkodie and explained why Sarkodie was his preferred choice for a collaboration.
