When rumours of Ghanaian actress Juliet Ibrahim and Nigerian artiste Iceberg Slim’s break up made headlines in late 2018, the internet was in shock.
The two while together had made bold statements about staying together forever and finding themselves to be perfect for each other.
Hence when Iceberg Slim took to his Instagram story to take a jab at Juliet when she confirmed the rumours in an interview with Joy FM, many fans wondered how bad the relationship had gone.
Opinions were divided on whether his claim was true or out of spite.
“When toxic person can no longer control you, they’ll try to control how others see you. The misinformation will feel unfair but stay above it, trusting that other people will see the truth, just like you did,” he had written.
However, Iceberg Slim is making a shocking u-turn in an apology written to the actress.
The singer in a letter posted on Instagram detailed the reason his romance with the actress turned sour.
According to the letter, he caused Juliet Ibrahim pain and heartbreak when all the actress did was support and love him unconditionally and wanted the same in return.
“I lied, cheated, I took your love for granted and in turn, I brought ridicule and shame to you. From the bottom of my heart, I apologise,” he said in the letter.
Iceberg revealed that he is detailing the reason for their break up and also apologise in other to heal.
He explained for him to heal and continue with life, it was necessary for him to reveal.

The actress has, however, not commented on the apology but is certain to have seen the post because she is the only one who was tagged in the post whose comment section has been disabled.
She seems to be focused on her new book ‘A Toast To Life’, that details her struggle through life from a young age in Liberia to fame and relationships.
