Inspector General of Police (IGP) Christian Tetteh Yohuno and his investigative team have visited victims injured in the recent clashes between the police and youth in Bawku in the Upper East region.
The visit aimed to assess the security situation and improve relations between the police and the community.
The victims thanked the IGP and appealed for lasting solutions to the conflict.

The team also visited Kusasa and Garu to evaluate damage to property; the Police Training School in Nangode to engage instructors and officers, and members of the community.
They paid a courtesy call on Zugraan Bawku Naba Asigri Abugrago Azoka II, the overlord of Bawku.
