Firebrand conservative political commentator Candace Owens’ anti-porn comments condemning the use and abuse of sexually explicit content have gone viral on X.
Owens has made this claim before and is now doubling down on her stance that porn is the bane of men’s existence, posting on her X account: “Ban pornography. It is a psychological weapon intended to weaken our men.”
The post has since garnered 8.9 million views and over 6,000 comments from people either opposing or agreeing with her opinion.
Pornography was created as a tool of enslavement, not freedom. It was created by the most depraved among our human race to psychologcally introduce homosexuality, pedophilia and incest—religious sacraments to satanists

BAN IT & stigmatize every person who defends or profits from… https://t.co/8DITt2bSfw
She then continued to add fuel to the discourse in a follow-up post, stating: “I also want to say to the men that struggle with pornography— you were the intended victims of it. Don’t feel ashamed talking about it. Knowing that it’s wrong is a great first step.”
“Pornography was created as a tool of enslavement, not freedom. It was created by the most depraved among our human race to psychologically introduce homosexuality, paedophilia and incest—religious sacraments to Satanists (sic) BAN IT & stigmatize every person who defends or profits from [it]”,” She said.
Owens announced earlier this year that she had converted to Catholicism after previously identifying as a Reformed Evangelical Protestant.

Her baptism into the Catholic Church may have been inspired by her marriage to George Farmer, CEO of the newly relaunched conservative social media app Parler, who is also a devout Catholic.
Her religious background influences a lot of the political and social rhetoric she shares on Elon Musk’s version of Twitter (X.com) where he promotes free speech.
“Yes—pornography is a psychological, spiritual weapon meant to deprave the tastes of men and women. Every year the porn offered becomes more depraved. They introduce young-looking boys and girls, trannies, etc while simultaneously teaching kids in government-run schools that it’s “healthy” to watch porn,” she added.
