Ja Rule and Me-Ku both American popular hip pop and R&B artistes will be thrilling Ghanaian fans come 9th and 10th of March at Accra and Sekondi respectively, alongside some Ghanaian hip-life artistes.
The big event is coming at the heels of the celebrations of the country's golden jubilee anniversary. In Accra, the event is scheduled to take place at the International Conference Center while that of Sekondi will take place at Gyandu park.
The event is being organized by Takoradi based Melody 91.1 FM and Gold Coast Entertainments of the USA. "These events will bring a whole lot of whiff of fresh air to the dull trend of artistic performances” says Oheneba Kwame Amofa, the Events Head of Melody 91.1FM.
According to him, Ghanaian music fans will get the experience of hearing both Ja Rule and Me-Ku"s latest albums which are yet to be launched. He said the events will showcase the most beautiful aspect of Ghanaian and American talents.
The list of Ghanaian artistes billed to perform alongside their American counterparts are Lord Kenya, Castro, Batman Samini, Mzbell, Screwface and Kofi Nti. The rest are Kwaw Kesse, Slim Busta, Akatakyie, Praye, Wutah, Dr Poh and K.K Fosu.
