The Multimedia Group has announced that it will provide more than GHC 560,000 worth of airtime to the over 50 companies that participated in the 2025 JoySports Invitational Tournament, the biggest annual corporate sports event in Ghana.
The airtime packages will be redeemable in the first quarter of 2026 across Multimedia’s platforms.
Overall champions, Piwak Natural Health, who won four gold medals, will receive GHC 40,000 worth of airtime. The Luckiest and the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) will get GHC 30,000, while ARB Apex Bank PLC will receive GHC 25,000 for finishing second and third respectively.

General Manager, Sales and Marketing at the Multimedia Group, David Max-Fugar, expressed gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the tournament.
“As we wrap up the JoySports Invitational activities, I would like to, on behalf of management and staff of Multimedia, and on my own behalf, say a very big thank you to the Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, for gracing the occasion for us.

"I’m also very grateful to the over 50 CEOs who participated in this year’s event. We are super grateful for your participation.”
He explained that every organisation that took part in the competition will benefit from an airtime package.
“For participating in this year’s JoySports Invitational, your organisation earns GHC 10,000 worth of airtime straight away. So just for the mere participation, Multimedia is giving you GHC 10,000 worth of airtime.”
Mr Max-Fugar further outlined the additional packages available to winners.
“Now for those who won awards, for the second runner-up, we are giving you additional GHC 15,000 worth of airtime. First runner-up gets additional GHC 20,000 worth of airtime to be used on any of the Multimedia platforms.
"And the ultimate winner gets GHC 30,000 worth of airtime to be used on any of the Multimedia platforms. So you can add the participation to the ultimate prize. That’s about GHC 40,000 worth of airtime for being part of this year’s historic JoySports Invitational.

"In subsequent events, we intend to award our cherish participants based on medals won. So if you win gold, there will be a specific prize attached, if you win silver, there will be a specific prize, that will then inform how much airtime we will be give out as a prize. So assuming we are giving GHC 2,000 for each gold won and general prize is GHC 10,000, it means you'll have GHC 12,000 in total.
"The general prize is to ensure that for participating alone, you get something for coming. We will roll out the new awarding plan subsequently."
He also assured participating organisations of continued engagement beyond the tournament.
“In appreciation for your partnership for this year’s JoySports Invitational, there’s a joint team of the marketing and the JoySports team going around to say thank you to you formally.

"We have visited a lot of you already. Some of you we’ve scheduled to visit in the coming weeks. We appreciate your support. We appreciate your participation and we look forward to seeing you again next year.”
Looking ahead, he encouraged corporate partners to share their ideas to help grow the event.
“When we come around, we’ll have further conversation on how we can make the event bigger and better. We value your input and we want to believe that you will share your insights and your ideas with us to make next year’s event bigger and better. Thank you all. See you next year at the JoySports Invitational 2026.”
The 2025 edition was supported by several corporate partners, including Royal Sweet Limited, Ayuda Hub, The Game Energy Drink, Emigoh Ghana, The Luckiest, Minerals Commission, and Promoworld.
The JoySports Invitational continues to position itself as Ghana’s premier corporate sporting festival, bringing together organisations for competition, networking, and health-driven recreation.
