The newly elected 1st vice president of MUSIGA, Kaakyire Kwame Appiah is set to release his new movie Osofo Mafia. The movie looks at the nefarious activities of some of the charlatans parading as men of God.
The movie is Kaakyire’s fourth movie to hit the market after Owuo Safoa, Army of Darkness and Osum Atumfuo. According to Kaakyire, his venturing into the movie industry doesn’t mean he is quitting the music industry.
He tells Hitz FM that since he is involved in the entertainment industry, his decision to release a movie is a step in the right direction.
According to the German-based musician, he is working on his next album which should be ready before Christmas, which he promises would blast this yuletide.
Kaakyire is renowned for his string of Christmas hits like December 24th which he released about five years ago.
He expressed his gratitude to all well wishers who supported and prayed for him during and after the Musiga elections that saw him being elected.
