After the astounding success of his Truth EP, Kofi Jamar is about to serve his ever-thirsty fans with a new twist to the EP.
The new song with Stonebwoy, 'Mi Dey Up' remix is off the original 'Mi Dey Up' masterpieces on the Truth EP.
Kofi Jamar said, "The upcoming Afroreggae tune is a motivation for the youth to stay up no matter what they going through in life.
"Also talks about life and the need to stay up in the midst of the struggle and hustle they face."
Expressing his admiration for Stonebwoy he said working with the multiple award-winning artiste was inspiring.
"For Stonebwoy, it’s about himself and the vibe. He is simply like that and very down to earth. It was an amazing experience,” he said.
Kofi Jamar added that it was also imperative to feature Stonebwoy in particular because “as I looked around, considered that Stonebwoy has songs in which he talks mostly about hustling, which I love.
"The youth can identify with those kinds of songs of his so I wanted him to be the perfect prophet on the song to prophesy to the youth out there,” he said.
The song, Mi Dey Up Remix is out on all digital music platforms - iTunes, Spotify as well as a stunning video.
Kofi Jamar's label Gadone Records spoke about how thrilled it is about the project and its intension to push it.
"We also want to assure lovers of the truth EP that 'Mi Dey Up' remix is not going to come in the way, reduce or counter the growth and promotion of his truth EP," the label said.
