Provisional results from the Tarkwa Nsuaem Constituency indicate that actor, Kwame Dzokoto, has won the parliamentary primaries to represent the NDC in next year's parliamentary election.
Mr Dzokoto polled 1,415 votes, while his main contender, Thomas Otchere got 402 votes.
Earlier, Mr Dzokoto told Joy News problems facing the conduct of the polls will in no way affect his 75% winning margin.

Eric Don-Arthur
Former host of TV3’s morning show, Eric Don-Arthur has also won the primaries in the Effutu constituency.
He polled 1694 votes while Ambrose Entsiwah polled 1261 out of the total votes cast.
Meanwhile, some incumbent MPs have lost their seats.
MP for Daboya/Mankarigu constituency, Abudu Nelson, lost to Shaibu Mahama.

Dr. Alhassan Ahmed Yakubu
Also the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and MP for Mion Dr. Alhassan Ahmed Yakubu has also lost to Dr. Mu-Awia Zakaria based on provisional results coming from the Northern region.
