Leicester City winger, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, has promised that his side will go for the win against Sunderland in Tuesday’s match.
The Foxes will host the Black Cats at the King Power Stadium in round 13 of the Championship.
Speaking after scoring his debut goal for Leicester in their 3-1 win over Swansea at the weekend, Fatawu said the team will do better against Sunderland.
“I’m just assuring the fans that we are going to do more than we did today on Tuesday. We are always ready and we are going for the win,” he said.
“With the squad we have I think there is no doubt. I’m always proud of the team and every time we are ready for the game.”
The 19-year-old Black Stars winger has a goal and an assist for Leicester City in eight Championship games since joining on loan from Sporting in the summer.
The Foxes are top of the Championship table with 33 points from 12 games as they hope to make a quick comeback to the Premier League.
