President John Dramani Mahama, speaking at Ghana’s 69th Independence Day celebrations at the Jubilee House, reaffirmed his commitment to ethical leadership and service.
“As your president, I pledge to serve with integrity and humility,” he stated, stressing that honesty and humility will guide his administration in advancing national development.
President Mahama called on all Ghanaians to embrace accountability and shared responsibility, emphasising that restoring values and trust is essential for the country’s progress.
He further highlighted the importance of transparency in governance, assuring citizens that government policies and programmes will benefit all, particularly the most vulnerable communities.
Concluding his address, the President encouraged citizens to work together with the government, noting that collective commitment to integrity, service, and national unity is key to achieving sustainable prosperity.
