A student of the Christian IPS school at Kukurantumi in the Eastern Region is in police custody for allegedly slashing the throat of a 20 year old man to death.
The situation which is said to have been triggered by a misunderstanding between the deceased and the suspect over a girl occurred about 11:30 pm Saturday night.
Uncle to the deceased, Mohammed Frimpong told Joy News the suspect first stabbed him in the arm.
He said the man later slashed the nephew’s “throat like a goat” which he bled to death in cold blood.
The body, he said, has been deposited at the Tafo Government Hospital morgue.
The suspected killer is currently in police custody pending investigations.
