A 40-year-old man has allegedly defiled a 10-year-old girl leading to her death on Tuesday, September 12.
The suspect, Kwabena Larbi committed the act at Ohene Akura, a village in the Kwawu West Municipality of the Eastern Region.
According to Adom News, the man who pounds ‘fufu’ for a living, raped the Primary 3 pupil near the Asuboni Rails suburb of Nkawkaw.
The mother of the victim, Ama Rita, said her child left for school at about 8 a.m. and that was the last time she saw her daughter alive.
She later heard the news unfortunate news of her daughter’s demise as the pupil was reportedly found dead in the suspect’s room.
Amid uncontrollable wailing, the mother reported the suspected murderer to the police.
