Munkaila Musa, a 35-year-old farmer has appeared before the Asamankese Circuit court for possessing 127 wrappers of leaves suspected to be Indian hemp.
The plea of Musa was not taken and he was remanded in prison custody to re-appear on February 6.
Police Inspector Kate Ogyiri told the court presided over by Mr Kofi Akrowiah that on January 01, the Asamankese District Police Commander saw Musa offering for sale a wrapper suspected to be Indian hemp.
He was arrested and sent to the police station and during a search, 127 wrappers of dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp were found on him.
