Mariah Carey is trying to stop a tell-all book about her from being published.
The Touch My Body singer is said to be so concerned by revelations set to appear in a new tome written by her former record producer Damion 'Damizza' Young that she is desperate to prevent it going to print.
Damion has announced he intends to reveal his "intense four-year personal relationship" with the star in Guilty By Association, according to the New York Post newspaper.
However, the 38-year-old songstress has ordered her lawyer Sonya Guardo to write a letter to the music mogul, reminding him of the confidentiality agreement he signed which prevents him from legally revealing any sensitive information about her.
Mariah is not the only celebrity to have fallen victim to a revealing book written by someone close to them.
Madonna's brother Christopher Ciccone recently released Life With My Sister Madonna, which claimed his superstar sibling is a control freak and a narcissist.
Toxic singer Britney Spears was left in tears when she discovered her mother Lynne is set to release Through The Storm: A Real Story Of Fame And Family On a Tabloid World later this month.
The book claims the Piece Of Me singer lost her virginity at the age of 14, took drugs at 15 and started drinking aged 13.
