The Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rt. Reverend Dr. Yaw Frimpong-Manso, has announced the Church's readiness to establish a Medical School at Agogo as one of the campuses of the Presbyterian University College. The campus will offer courses in Basic Nursing Services and later introduce other health related courses. Rev. Dr. Frimpong-Manso said this when he led a delegation from the Church of Scotland to call on the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi. The Scottish Moderator, Right Reverend Allan McDonalds and his wife, headed the delegation. They are in the country to strengthen relationship between the two churches. The Rt. Reverend, Dr. Frimpong-Manso thanked Otumfuo Osei Tutu for donating ¢100m in support of the Presbyterian University College. The Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Scotland, Rt. Rev. McDonald advised Ghanaians to look ahead and forget about the past. The Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu advised churches to place premium on the training of their people to be morally upright. He stressed that the future of the country belongs to the youth and urged the church to be particular about their moral upbringing. The delegation has already visited the Volta and Greater Accra Regions and is expected in the Northern Region
