Madina MP Alhaji Amadu Sorogho says his main contender will suffer an excruciating defeat in Saturday NDC parliamentary primaries.
"Sosu will collapse on Saturday," Alhaji Sorogho, who first entered Parliament in 2009, said on TV3's News @ 10 on Wednesday, November 18.
While Alhaji Sorogho has sworn to defeat the young legal practitioner,Francis Xavier-Sosu has labeled the primaries a ‘David and Goliath’ fight suggesting that the underdog will floor the tough-talking favourite.
He retorted that the incumbent will be driven to the hospital in his own ambulance.
The two are the main contenders for Saturday's parliamentary primaries of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Madina Constituency.
Alhaji Sorogho alleged that Mr Sosu has not been a member of the NDC in the constituency and does not even have a voting right there.
He added that members of the NDC do not even know the lawyer as part of them. "I don't have time for you," he stressed.
The winner of Saturday's primaries will face Alhaji Boniface Saddique of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) among other candidates in the 2016 elections.
