The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has opened nominations for parliamentary primaries in 20 constituencies in the Ashanti Region.
In a statement, the party’s National Organiser, Joshua Akamba said: “nominations will open for 3 days, from Monday, November 18, 2019, to Wednesday, November 20, 2019.”
Vetting of Aspirants would be on the 26th and 27th November, 2019 and elections are scheduled for December 14, 2019.
“All stakeholders and interested persons should take note and comply accordingly,” the statement said.
The biggest opposition party held the primaries across the country in August but put some constituencies on hold due to certain challenges.
