The newly installed Paramount Chief of the Ziope Traditional Area, Toegbuuga Binah Lawluvi VII, has promised to build on the legacies of his predecessor.
He thus assured of driving both human and infrastructure development and building on the peace and tranquility in the area.
“I want to swear to the the entire Ziope Traditional Area that I I’ve accepted to occupy the throne in the name of God the father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and I will work and meet your expectations” he said, when he was outdoor at Ziope in the Agotime Ziope District of the Volta Region.
The ceremony saw a display of authentic Ziope culture and tradition.

Togbui Binah Lawluvi VII known in private life as Frank Gasese is the Western Regional Director of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority.

Other traditional rites were also performed, where he and the other Chiefs stepped in the blood of a ram slaughtered to signify his ascension to the throne as Paramount Chief of Ziope Traditional Area and unification with the other chiefs.

Togbui Binah in his speech “accepted the challenge”, promised to lead the area to prosperity.
He counseled the youth to collaborate with the elders to lay solid foundation for the development of the area and to ensure a better future.
“You must not sit aloof but endeavor to share ideas with your elders for the progress of the area for your own benefit”, he said.
The Chief Warlord of the Agotime Traditional Area, Nene Akoto-Sah VII, implored the two traditional areas to continue to live in peace and harmony, and work towards harnessing development.
He opined job creation among other initiatives in the traditional area to prevent the youth from migrating to other parts of the country for greener pastures.
