The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has denied reports circulating on social media that some seven soldiers have tested positive for COVID-19.
According to a statement signed by GAF Director of Public Relations, Colonel Aggrey-Quarshie, the pandemic is a sensitive matter therefore individuals must desist from spreading fake news which will cause fear and panic among citizens.
“We further wish to take this opportunity to caution individuals involved in publishing fake news to desist from the practice."
