Mankranso SHS pulled off a classy comeback at Auditorium 900 to secure a one-eighth stage ticket at the 2025 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ), finishing the contest with 45 points.
St. Joseph Seminary SHS opened the day with a strong 23 points in Round One, but once Mankranso caught fire in Round Two, they never looked back. They stretched their lead to 29 points by the midpoint and kept full control till the closing bell.

By the end of the contest, St. Joseph Seminary settled for 38 points, while Sekondi College, who could not recover from a slow opener, finished with 31 points.
Mankranso’s momentum was helped by a 3/10 score in the Problem of the Day; not perfect, but just enough cushion in a contest where every point mattered.

Another seat in the one-eighth stage is now off the market, and Mankranso SHS just claimed it with authority. The prelims continue as more schools try to keep their NSMQ 2025 dream alive.
