The Farouk Aliu Mahama Educational Care Fund-FAMEC-FUND is set to disburse scholarship funds to over 70 brilliant but needy students studying various courses in various tertiary institutions throughout Ghana.
The scholarship fund was set up under the auspices of the Member of Parliament for Yendi, Farouk Aliu Mahama,
The Schorlaship will go towards cushioning beneficiary students in paying for their academic user-fees, as well as taking care of other educational expenses.
Mr Aliu Mahama, on his election as MP for the area in 2020, instituted the FAMEC-FUND to support the education of particularly needy, but brilliant constituents to help in the development of quality human resource for the Yendi constituency.
The presentation of funds is set to take place at the Yendi Community Centre, and will witness the attendance of all key stakeholders.
