Parliamentary staff says they are yet to witness an improvement in their conditions of service since the exit of the late former speaker Peter Ala Adjetey in 2005.

Chairman of the Parliamentary Workers Union, Maxwell Tetteh laments the worsening economic conditions in the face of economic difficulties

Insiders say the workers are calling an industrial action if their conditions of Service are not improved.

Minority leader Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu is urging speedy resolution of concerns of parliamentary staff to avoid a possible shut down of government business. 

"We cannot pretend not to know that there are grumblings behind the curtain. we bear witness to what we do know"

The minority leader is therefore urging the Parliamentary Service board to settle of their concerns to enable the house discharge its duties effectively.
