Parts of the Sofoline Interchange in Kumasi will be closed to traffic on Wednesday, September 3, for repair works.
The over two-week exercise is expected to end on Friday, September 19, 2025.
The closure is to allow the Urban Roads Department in the Ashanti region to expand joints of the approach slab on the ramp leading to Santasi Roundabout and Patasi from the Sofoline lorry terminal.

The Department of Urban Roads, in a statement, noted that motorists heading to Patasi, Santasi Roundabout and its environs are to follow the directional signs as they approach the interchange.
Road users have been advised to adhere strictly to these traffic management measures for the duration of the works.
