With the 2022 FIFA World Cup just days away, Joy Sports' tracking of the performances of Ghanaian players abroad continued over the weekend.

Some of the players including Thomas Partey and Inaki Williams were in top form while Jojo Wollacott didn't have the best of games.

Here's a wrap of some performances from the weekend:

Partey scored his second Premier League goal of the season in Arsenal's 5-0 thumping of Nottingham Forest at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday. The midfielder was at the heart of everything for the Gunners as they return to the summit of the league.

Joseph Paintsil's stellar season in Belgium took another fine turn as he scored and provided an assist in Genk's win over Mechelen. The winger has now been directly involved in 10 goals in 12 league games this season, five more than he achieved last season.

Inaki Williams netted the only goal of the game as athletic Bilbao bounced back to winning ways against Villarreal. The goal was the forward's fifth of the campaign.

Youngster Forson Amankwah scored from a free-kick in Altach 2-1 defeat to Austria Vienna in the Austria Bundesliga.

Kamal Sowah and Majeed Ashimeru provided assists as Club Brugge and Anderlecht won their respective games in the Belgian Pro League.

Ibrahim Sadiq will end the 2022 Swedish season as a league champion after helping BK Hacken to clinch the top flight.

Baba Iddrisu was named Man of the Match in Mallorca's 1-1 draw against Espanyol in the Spanish LaLiga.

Gideon Mensah returned from injury to play all 90 minutes as Auxerre secured a narrow win over Ajaccio in the French Ligue 1.

Wollacott was not a happy man after shipping in four goals in an eight-goal thriller between Charlton Athletic and Ipswich.

Salis Abdul Samed was a standout performer in RC Lens' 3-0 win against Toulouse.

Patrick Pfeiffer and Braydon Marvin Manu were in action for Darmstadt in their 1-1 draw against St.Pauli as Stephan Ambrosius featured for Karlsruher in their 1-0 defeat to Hannover.
