Former President Jerry John Rawlings will be buried today, January 27, 2021.
This follows four days of funeral activities lined up by the state and his family.
Prior to his pre-burial service which is taking place at the Independence Square, the former statesman was laid in state at the Accra International Conference Centre for two days.
President Akufo-Addo, the Vice President and other government officials will be present at the funeral.
This event is also expected to be graced by other heads of state.
