President Akufo-Addo, Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, together with their spouses today filed past the body of late Jerry John Rawlings.
This formed parts of the funeral activities lined up by the state and family of Mr. Rawlings who died at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital on Thursday, November 12, 2020.
The former statesman has been laid in state at the Accra International Conference Centre since Monday, January 25, 2021 so the general public and other dignitaries can pay their respect.
Apart from Akufo-Addo, former President John Agyekum Kufuor and former President John Dramani Mahama were also present to file past the body.
They were followed by members of the executive, judiciary and legislature.
