Former president John Dramani Mahama basked in cheers as he joined the Ga community, in the Greater Accra region, mark its annual festival, Homowo.
John Mahama who is also the 2020 flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress shook hands, waved and beamed through the crowds that came round Ghana’s former leader.
Homowo, or “Mocking Hunger” is a huge traditional event in Ga communities of Accra and along the coast in the region.
