After facing the Appointments Committee on Thursday, March 25, Finance Minister-designate Ken Ofori-Atta resumed his vetting today.
The adjournment of the exercise was due to the health status of the Minister who recently returned to the country after seeking medical treatment in the US.
After answering questions for close to 6-hours, Chairman of the Committee, Joseph Osei Owusu announced the decision to continue the vetting on Friday.
He also revealed that, today's vetting will be done by only leadership.
Already, Mr. Ofori-Atta who is maintaining his old portfolio during the previous Akufo-Addo administration has clarified the controversies surrounding the Agyapa deal.
He has also touched on the country's increasing debt stock, the introduction of new taxes, the continuous depreciation of the cedi, Covid-19 related expenditures and the general economy.
