Polytechnic students from across the country will storm Accra on Wednesday for a massive demonstration at the seat of government, Osu Castle.
The Ghana National Union of Polytechnic Students (GNUPS) says the demonstration is against what they describe as the ‘government’s insensitivity and show of bias against polytechnic education in the country’.
The students who have been left stranded following the strike by the Polytechnic Teachers Association say they will present two options to government - to either close down the polytechnics or take a bold step to resolve the protracted strike.
