Residents and businesses in parts of Accra West are being advised to prepare for a temporary power outage as the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) undertakes scheduled maintenance works.
The maintenance is set to take place on Thursday, 12th February 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and is part of ECG’s ongoing efforts to improve service delivery and ensure reliable electricity supply.
According to the notice released by ECG, the areas that will be affected include Abease, Achiama, Obeyeyie, Ayikai Doblo, Akramaman, and neighbouring communities.

ECG apologised for any inconvenience caused by the planned outage.
