The Power of Worship International president, Daniel Amoateng, has been honoured with a distinguished achievement honorary award in humanitarian works at the 2021 Humanitarian Award Global.
The civil engineer, philanthropist and preacher took the award at the Labadi Beach Hotel on Saturday for his contribution to the wellbeing of his society and Ghanaians as a whole.
During the Covid-19 lockdown in Ghana last year, the humanitarian donated to his church members and various communities in the capital food items.

The items were made available at the church premises whilst the members were encouraged to walk in for some to feed their families.
Mr Amoateng also gave out his church apartment to the homeless, paid for the rent of people who could not afford their rent anymore and school fees for people, including university students.

To date, over 100 people in society are benefiting from his various outreach services, and students still benefit from his scholarship scheme to keep them in school when their parents are unable to pay their fees.
The preacher also reached out to Sierra Leone and Liberia to support the orphans of the Ebola victims during the Ebola outbreak in West Africa.

This and many other selfless contributions to humanity through the Daniel Amoateng Foundation cannot be left unseen and unappreciated.
Daniel Amoateng also initiated a Food Bank at Power of Worship International, where he and his church leadership contributes their quota to the nation by giving out foodstuff and other vital items to the community and some church members on the last Sunday of every month.
