Ghanaian music producer and CEO of Lynx Entertainment, Richie Mensah, has been officially named a voting member of the Recording Academy, the body responsible for the prestigious Grammy Awards.
This recognition marks a major milestone for Richie and the Ghanaian music industry, solidifying his influence on the global music stage.
As a Recording Academy voter, Richie now holds the power to help decide who takes home the Grammy statuette — a role reserved for leading professionals shaping the sound and future of music worldwide.
As a songwriter, producer, performer, and sound engineer, Richie’s contribution to Ghana’s music industry has been immense.
His new position gives him access to exclusive Academy events, high-level networking opportunities, and the privilege of voting on Grammy nominees and winners.
Since founding Lynx Entertainment in 2007, Richie Mensah has discovered and produced some of Africa’s most celebrated artists, including Kuami Eugene, KiDi, and MzVee, among others.

His visionary work has helped position Ghana as a creative force in the global entertainment industry.
This honour comes at a time when Richie is broadening his impact beyond music through his Masterminds Podcast on YouTube, aired every Wednesday and Sunday.
