Social media space, Twitter, has been buzzing since it was reported that Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe has been invited by the Accra Regional Police Command for questioning today at 4 pm.
According to the Police, Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC, has made claims that former President John Mahama is planning to stage a coup. His presence is to aid investigations.
Users have praised Inspector-General of Police, Dr George Akufo-Dampare, for his swift actions to preserve the peace enjoyed in the country.

However, others have also questioned the Police's decision not to make public the invitation to lead convenor for #FixTheCountry Movement, Oliver Barker-Vormawor, for questioning prior to his arrest on February 11, after making threats of a coup on Facebook.
They said they invited Oliver several times... What I find weird is why didn't that invite put up like Abronye DC's own ??

Meanwhile, the Police has noted that should Abronye DC fail to honour their invitation, he will be arrested.
Below are more comments:
I think @JDMahama and #NDC should sue Abronye DC for deformation.

Chairman Abronye DC's statement can't be described as attempting to overthrow the Constitution (Coup). He only said Mahama is planning to stage a Coup for certain reasons best known to him.
Hope NDC will not insult Dampare.....
