Social media users have expressed mixed reactions following the arrest, and subsequent release, of a journalist with Accra-based Citi FM, Caleb Kudah.

According to reports, Mr Kudah was detained for unlawfully filming a video at the premises of the National Security Ministry.

After detaining the Back Page host, about seven heavily armed officers stormed the premises of the Adabraka-based station in a Rambo-style with the intention to whisk away his colleague, Zoe Abu-Baidoo whom they claimed had received files from Caleb Kudah.

When the news became public knowledge, social media users are unhappy with how the arrest was carried out.

Others said, Mr Kudah should have known better and not film a security sensitive area.
