Multiple award winning African gospel artiste, Sonnie Badu, is set to rock the Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre on December 2, 2012.
The concert, Sonnie Badu Concert, will be headlined by Sonnie Badu with support from a host of other gospel music stalwarts in the country.
Sonnie Badu is regarded as one of the country's most celebrated and influential worship leaders.
He is best known for his energetic sound and colorful mix of contemporary African praise and worship with a style so diverse.
His status as a pivotal figure on the African gospel circuit was solidified when he bagged both the Trailblazer Award and Album of the Year award at the 3rd Africa Music Awards.
Africa Worships with Sonnie Badu, his flagship concert, was launched in 2008 and as part of his charity work, he raised awareness and aid for those in need beginning with Kenya; the event also witnessed the launch of his first book titled The Worshippers Cry.
Not content with the success of Africa Worships with Sonnie Badu, he followed up it with another headlining event entitled RAW Worship-Ignite My Fire. A night of pure worship, it witnessed a record number of attendees and also heralded the launch of his second book, How to Activate Your Miracle during Worship.
A number of successful concerts around the world have followed, including the groundbreaking Sonnie Badu Alive concert in Texas held in July this year. He has shared the stage with the likes of Juanita Bynum, Lionel Peterson, Alvin Slaughter, Noel Robinson, Muyiwa, Sammy Okposu, Mike Aremu and other international gospel ministers.
The December 2 concert is under the auspices of The Telecom Channel, an LGG Company, with a tradition of supplying IT accessories to companies across the country and the Hour of Hope Trust, and powered by Empire Entertainment and Media GH.
