This forms part of activities of the bank to commemorate the 2019 International Day of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) which was observed on December 3.
This day is celebrated with the objective of compassion for the disabled, self-esteem and support to improve their lives.
Based on this backdrop, Standard Chartered is imparting knowledge on disabled persons in Ghana which falls under the bank’s new community investment approach called ‘Futuremakers’ which aims to empower young people with employability, education and entrepreneurship opportunities.
