Insurance providers Star Assurance Company Ltd, in partnership with Zoomlion, GPRTU, and the New Juaben traditional council has organised a clean-up exercise in Koforidua.
The exercise saw the Omanhene of New Juaben Traditional Area, Daasebre Kwaku Boateng III, participating as part of Star Assurance's 38th-anniversary celebration.
The event took place within the Koforidua-Kumasi and Koforidua-Accra main lorry terminals in the Eastern regional capital on Saturday.

Gutters choked with plastic material and silts were desilted while waste materials and garbage that had litered the environment were cleaned.
Omanhene of New Juaben traditional area commended the 2021 CIMG Insurance Company of the Year for the intervention. He urged his subjects to join him make Koforidua clean.
The Chief Finance Officer of Star Assurance, Justice Frank Offei, said the clean up exercise reflects the company's vision of being a solid partner to the needs of its partners.
Drivers were educated on road safety and insurance tips as well as various motor insurance packages by Star Assurance.
Star Assurance delegation subsequently visited Omanhene of New Juaben Daasebre Kwaku Boateng III at his palace to donate Ghc10,000 to support his development agenda, and two handwashing facilities.
