Ghana's chances of qualifying for the semi-final of the 2013 African Junior Championships will go down to the wire.
The Black Starlets rallied from a goal down to draw 1-1 with Congo in Marrakech on Wednesday in Group B to hand themselves a chance to fight for a semi-final place when they face Ivory Coast in the final group match on Saturday.
Yaw Yeboah scored in the 33rd minute to draw Ghana level after the Congolese had taken a 3rd minute lead through Kader Bidimbou.
The goal by Yeboah was his second at the tournament after he scored in Ghana's opener.
Despite the result which handed Ghana their first point at the Championship, Nigeria's 1-0 loss to Ivory Coast in the other group match means the final day matches will determine which team goes into the next stage of the competition.
Ivory Coast are on four points and now lead the log in Group B, followed by Nigeria with three points with Congo sitting in third position with two points.
Ghana, who are on one point, need nothing other than victory against the Ivorians in Casablanca to secure themselves a place in the last four of the competition in Morocco.
The semi finalists in the competition will represent Africa at the FIFA U-17 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates in October.
