‎T.I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School, Salaga has secured the Savannah Region’s only ticket to the 2026 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) National Championship after seeing off Bole Senior High School and Salaga Senior High School.

‎The school finished the contest with 31 points, beating Bole SHS, which placed second with 26 points, while Salaga SHS ended the contest with 4 points.
‎
‎The victory marks T.I. Ahmadiyya SHS, Salaga’s second consecutive qualification for the national championship, keeping the school’s impressive run in the competition alive.
‎
‎Bole SHS came close to claiming the region’s sole ticket but could not overcome T.I. Ahmadiyya SHS, Salaga in the decisive stages of the contest, bringing their hopes of returning to the national stage to an end.

‎For Salaga SHS, the contest also ended in disappointment as the school’s hopes of securing a place at the national championship were dashed.
‎
‎With the qualification secured, the T.I. Ahmadiyya SHS, Salaga team has vowed to build on its regional success and continue its dominance as it heads to the national stage.

‎The school will now represent the Savannah Region at the 2026 NSMQ National Championship, with the team determined to raise the flag of the region high when the national contest begins.
