Multi-Award winning Hiplife rapper, Tic Tac has signed to Rockstar 4000 Music Entertainment – Africa’s first Pan African 360 Music & Entertainment Company and Record Label.
The deal with Rockstar 4000 will see hiplife singer/song writer Tic Tac from Ghana in a historic, exclusive worldwide digital distribution deal, having his music made available commercially to a global audience of millions.
Rockstar 4000 Music Entertainment, through its exclusive Pan African partnership with Sony Music Entertainment, will distribute its music and video catalogue to hundreds of digital storefronts worldwide, including major digital music services like iTunes®, Amazon MP3, Napster, eMusic and many others.
“I first met Tic Tac during my time at MTV Networks when we launched MTV base into Africa and was truly inspired from these early days in the passion and energy Tic Tac puts into his music. We are truly excited to now provide this unprecedented platform for his music to reach a global consumer base and audience,” says the CEO & Founder of Rockstar 4000, Jandre Louw.
Tic Tac, otherwise Nana Kwaku Okyere Duah is originally from Kwamo near Kumasi in the Ashanti Region in Ghana.
The story began in 1997, when he and a friend formed a group named ‘Natty Strangers’. Young as they were, they became the toast of many shows.
Tic Tac stood out from the rest of the group, his voice described by most as similar to Busta Rhymes.
