Common and Tiffany Haddish attend Toast To The Arts Presented by Remy Martin on March 2, 2018 in West Hollywood, Calif.
Tiffany Haddish had already fessed up that she and rapper Common have been quarantining together, but in a new interview, she said they've both been tested and they've been... getting very close.
"I am in a relationship," she told Steve-O on the latest edition of his Wild Ride podcast.
Showing off her bald look -- which, of course, matches Common's clean dome, though she said she did it to get in touch with her authentic self from head-to-toe -- Haddish said, "We're twins now... He’s like, ‘Wow, you did it man. You’ve got a lot of courage. You look so beautiful. I love it. And I’m like, ‘Ah, put your head on my head.'"
Haddish, who made it clear, "I'm doing it with Common," said the couple met when the rapper was cast as her love interest in her 2019 film The Kitchen, though they were just friends at first, getting together occasionally to play the card game spades.
After getting on Bumble last spring and dating a few dudes, Haddish's relationship with Common started to get a bit more serious and she suggested they make it official on Bumble to raise money for frontline workers and children.
"Then he got tested for everything, I got tested for everything, and yeah, we’ve been f--king," she laughed. The comedian said Common is her first celeb boyfriend and so far it is "hands down the best relationship" she's ever had.
"I’ve lost 20 pounds since I’ve been in this relationship. I feel more confident in me and it’s not him that’s doing it," she said. "I’m just way happier and it’s, like, knowing I got somebody that cares about me, that really has my back. It seems like he does anyways, and I love it. I love him."
Haddish revealed their relationship during an Instagram Live event in April with pals Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union, when Wade asked "What kind of tea you got? What about real life tea?", prompting her to pan the camera to reveal Common -- who happened to be wearing a bright pink gas mask and rubber gloves -- and joke, "You know who that is?"
In late March, the rapper took Haddish on a virtual date using Bumble, during which they bonded over their childhood goals, danced and ordered food for frontline workers at hospitals in Chicago and Los Angeles.
Watch Haddish discuss her boo on the podcast below (starting around the 7:25 mark).
