In a matter of 15 months The Daily Show host Trevor Noah has bought, relisted, and sold a Japanese-inspired Bel Air mansion, according to Dirt.
In a rather disappointing turn, the home’s sale price was $26.4 million, $1.1 million less than what he paid back in December of 2020 and $3.3 million less than what he listed the property for in October of 2021.
The 11,375 square foot modern house was built less than a decade ago, in 2014, and accordingly has all the best 21st century amenities one could hope for.
Its tree-surrounded hillside locale allows for additional privacy, even in exposed areas in the house, like in the floor-to-ceiling windowed stairwell.
Its boxy white exterior may look plain from the outside, but once through the gate, the home’s thoughtful materials and high ceilings create a distinct impression.
Additional amenities include a home gym, a spa with a sauna and wood tub, and a separate structure that houses the barbecue station topped by a rooftop lounge area.
This is Noah’s second quick flip in the area in the past three years—before purchasing the home he just sold, Noah sold another modern Bel Air space for $21.7 million after owning it for about a year and a half.
Things played out much more favorably in that deal, with the South Africa native profiting $1.2 million less broker fees and any renovation costs.
