Ghana missed out on a place in the final of the 2019 Africa U23 Cup of Nations after losing to Ivory Coast.
Ivory Coast won 3-2 on penalties after a 2-2 draw at the Cairo International Stadium.
The defeat means Black Meteors have to win the third-place playoff against South Africa on Friday to qualify for next year’s Olympic Games in Tokyo.
