Swansea will meet Valencia in a tough Europa League group, while Tottenham Hotspur face an interesting clash with Anzhi Makhachkala. Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup will be ruing the outcome of the Europa League draw, with the Swans in one of the toughest groups possible. Alongside Spanish side Valencia, they play Russians Kuban Krasnodar, who knocked Feyenoord out in qualifying. Contrastingly, Tottenham Hotspur boss André Villas-Boas won't be too disappointed with his side's draw. They should get through the group pretty comfortably, with their toughest match being against Anzhi Makhachkala. With Anzhi having had their squad stripped bare this summer, not even that should concern Spurs too much. FA Cup winners Wigan Athletic will come up against Rubin, Maribor and Zulte Waregem, while Italian giants Fiorentina face Dnipro, Paços Ferreira and Pandurii. Sevilla and Freiburg could be an interesting match in Group H, while Lyon meet Real Betis in Group I.
