Uganda considers new anti-gay law

It is not easy being gay in Uganda and it could be about to get even more difficult. Homosexual acts are already illegal, but the Anti-Homosexuality Bill proposes new offences and urges the toughening of existing penalties. The new law is being discussed in Parliament and would create a new crime of "aggravated homosexuality". It would target gay people who have sex while HIV-positive, or if their partner has a disability, or is under 18. The crime would be punishable by death. Source: BBC
