American Video Electronics (Avei) Inc, an international developer and manufacturer of innovative digital security products is partnering Virtual Security Africa to distribute standardized security equipment in Africa.
The two companies will use Ghana as a base to provide organizations and institutions across the continent with the needed security equipment and systems.
Virtual Security Africa Ltd, a digital surveillance security company launched its products in Ghana in September last year.
At the launch, the Chief Executive Officer of the company, Mr. Emmanuel Sekyere Asiedu said he aimed to partner manufacturers of some of the best security products in the world. That, he said would enable the company to achieve its objective of securing individuals and businesses.
As part of that objective, he signed an agreement with the American Video Electronics which specializes in pure digital matrix and hybrid NVR, allowing for flawless handling of digital images.
The company managers say they have successfully breached the gap between analog and digital security systems. This ability enables the company to merge existing analog infrastructure and convert it to digital thereby saving money for the customer.
Arie Hoenreich, Sales/Business Development of America Video Electronics Inc, says one of the major innovations Avei is bringing to the market is the ability to remotely and efficiently manage video, access control, intrusion and fire incidents.
“This is accomplished through GVM2000, Global Video Management System - Minimizing risk and increasing the overall security and safety of personnel or customers, depending on the application.” Said Mr. Hoenreich.
Avei’s design team has pioneered a unique adaptation of H.264 video compression technology and together with the airflow design of its enclosure, can assure continued operation.
The company is introducing its newest member of high performance systems, the Peta Hybrid 30 Tb mission critical, allowing for high-resolution long-term recording. With the unique patented swappable OS drive and hot swappable power supplies, it can provide minimal down time.
These features will allow law enforcement and/or management to swiftly
assess and manage high-risk situations and greatly reduce loss.
With crime and threat to the security of persons and business becoming more complex, the partnership between American Video Electronics and Virtual Security Africa is expected to meet the needs of many institutions and organizations on the continent.
Present at the ceremony were Thomas Lee, CEO of America Video Electronics, Daniel Lamptey and Nana Kofi Owusu-Ansah, VP and Marketing Director respectively of Virtual Security Africa, Bondzie Acquah, CEO of Digitech and Patrick Osei-Brogya of Electrical Solutions Ghana Ltd.
