The Black Queens will train later, Monday in preparation for their 2026 WAFCON qualifier against Egypt, after ending a two-day strike over unpaid bonuses, according to JoySports sources.
JoySports understands that GFA President Kurt Okraku met the team on Monday morning at their hotel in Accra to resolve the impasse between the players and the Ministry of Sports and Recreation.
Following the meeting, the team’s leadership agreed to call off the strike and resume preparations for Tuesday’s match.
Ghana won the first leg 3-0 in Egypt, putting themselves in a strong position to qualify for next year’s WAFCON in Morocco.
