The Presiding Bishop of Perez Chapel International says the country's future revenue has been mortgaged over time.

Speaking in an interview on Joy FM's 'A Walk With Jesus' on Sunday, he said this borrowing attitude has been in existence from time past.

According to him, if the borrowing culture persists, the future generation will greatly be affected.

“…so our children yet unborn are already owing for the next 30 years,” he added.

Bishop Agyinasare advised the country's leaders to modify their thoughts about how to use future resources to rescue future generations.

In addition, he said Ghana lacked a strategic plan when asked about the country's national agenda.

He said the country should have a strategic plan for development projects to hold leaders accountable for their promises.

According to him, as a result of the lack of a strategic plan, “any government comes and toys with our [Ghanaians] emotions.”

He also denounced governments' politicisation of the educational system, claiming that their children are unaffected.

“Today is JSS, the next day is JHS, the next time is four years, the next day is three years, the next time it’s two tracks, the next time it’s no track, we are confusing everything and so to our children, there is no clear cut,” he stated.

He further bemoaned the depreciation of the Ghanaian currency.

"If it's like that now, and five years, 10 years from now, if we don't reform what's going on, no good results will be obtained," he said.
