Hannah Odame wraps up the major stories featured in the news this week including the concerns by Oil Marketing Companies about the conditionalities by the IMF after it released the first tranche of $600 million to Ghana.
The week also saw the National Food Suppliers Association threatening to stop supplying food to schools unless the government pays their 18 months outstanding arrears.
Then there was the protest by the Judicial Staff Association as members refused to work unless a review of their salaries is done.
There were calls for the GNPC Board Chairman Freddie Blay to be sacked but Freddie Blay did not see the need for such a call – you’ll hear why.
There was another push – this time for the dismissal of Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta.
